ASEAN PAOs are responding to the changing reporting landscape
AFA publishes its 2022 AFA Annual Report. The report presents a high-level summary of the Federation’s key achievements and activities in 2022 and highlights the AFA member organisations’ key events for 2022.
"2022 has been a year full of opportunities to grow for those who are strong and resilient. Many of our activities this year have been centred on how we could build regional awareness towards current issues such as technology and sustainability and how to best equip our member organisations to build their organisational capacity to provide value to their members and stakeholders” as highlighted by Voravit Janthanakul (President, AFA) in his message for the 2022 AFA Annual Report.
In 2022, AFA and its member organisations continue to organise regional events and activities, as well as facilitate mutual sharing on current issues with a strong focus on sustainability. A successful transition to digital allows AFA to organise 8 regional events and more than 20 engagements with international stakeholders. As part of its commitment to promote adoption and implementation of international standards in ASEAN jurisdictions and to present the voice of ASEAN in global discussions, AFA also submitted its responses to the IAASB’s consultation on the proposed standard for audits of less complex entities and the ISSB’s exposure drafts for disclosures of general and climate-related information.
