The Lao Institute of Certified Public Accountants (LICPA) is pleased to inform a significant milestone in its organisational history. LICPA has officially change its name to the Lao Chamber of Professional Accountants and Auditors (LCPAA) through the ministerial decision No. 1004/MoF dated 7 April 2015, to be complied with the new Law of Independent Audit promulgated in 2014.
LCPAA will continue LICPA’s duties towards AFA to develop accountancy profession with partnerships of ASEAN and international professional accountancy bodies while strengthening its organisation in terms of management, capacity building and professional development.
