The ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA), supported by the CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ), will be hosting the 127th AFA Council Meeting at the International Convention Center, Sydney, on November 3, 2018. The AFA Council recognised the strategic advantage of hosting the meeting in Sydney, in conjunction with the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) 2018 that will be held on November 5-8, 2018.
In addition to the Council Meeting, AFA together with the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) will be co-hosting a joint networking session that will serve as a platform for members of AFA and CAPA to network and with representatives of key stakeholders such as IFAC and the relevant standard-setters. IFAC will also be hosting their meetings around the WCOA 2018 dates.
