The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) will be the host for the 117th AFA Council Meeting on 30-31 January 2015 at the Nexus, Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
To welcome the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), an MIA - AFA Seminar will be held back-to-back with the Council Meeting on 30 January 2015, taking the theme of "ASEAN Economic Community 2015 : Accounting Profession Beyond Borders". All ten primary members of AFA, representing the ten ASEAN countries together with the four associate members and representatives from the World Bank, and a number of prominent Malaysian stakeholders are expected to participate in the two-day event.
